Steven I. Gottlieb graduated from SUNY New Paltz in 1985 and from Pace University School of Law in 1990. He has been a practicing attorney for over ten years and a partner with the Law Offices of Moran and Gottlieb since 1996. Mr. Gottlieb focuses primarily on Personal Injury, Civil Rights and Family Mediation. Over the past decade, Mr. Gottlieb has represented hundreds of clients in Family Court, Supreme Court, NYS Appellate Court and Federal Bankruptcy Court. He served for four years as a staff attorney for Bronx Legal Services, where he represented more than 1,200 poor and homeless clients and he litigated and won the first lead paint poisoning case in Ulster County. Currently, Mr. Gottlieb teaches legal studies at Ulster County Community College as well as the SUNY On-Line Program. He has received the Reader's Digest American Hero in Education Award, as well as the American Lawyer's Auxiliary Teacher of the Year Award. |
